GPS : CoPilot Live 7 sera livré avec le PDAPhone GPS Airis T482 sous WM6

Avec près de trois mois de retard sur la date de sortie estimée du produit, le PDAPhone GPS « Airis T482 » devrait être commercialisé dans les prochains jours en France. Il sera possible de l'acquérir sans ou avec logiciel de navigation GPS associé. Le partenaire de l'offre sera ALK Technologies qui développe le logiciel CoPilot Live.

Quadribande GSM (850/900/1800/1900 Mhz), GPRS et EDGE, ce terminal dispose d'un processeur Marvell PXA270 cadencé à 416MHz associé à un second processeur Philips Grangonfly SS6120 en plus de 128 Mo de mémoire ROM et 64 Mo de mémoire RAM. Compact (125 x 62 x 14 mm) et léger (165 grammes), il dispose de plus d'un écran QVGA de 3,2 pouces, d'un appareil photo numérique de 2 megapixels et d'un port pour carte mémoire Micro SD.

Pour le reste, le T482 de Airis intègre une puce GPS SiRFStar III, le Bluetooth 2.0, le WiFi 802.11b/g et une batterie d'une capacité de pas moins de 1500 mAh lui permettant d'avoir une autonomie annoncée de 250 heures en mode PDA, 4 heures en mode GSM et 100 heures en veille. Doté enfin d'un tuner FM, le Airis T482 sera disponible sans logiciel de navigation GPS au prix de 399 euros TTC.

Equipé de CoPilot Live 7, il sera disponible avec la cartographie France au prix de 424 euros et 478 euros pour la version Europe. Il sera disponible à la vente essentiellement sur Internet. Détail intéressant, Airis devait au départ proposer le PDAPhone GPS également en option avec le logiciel de navigation GPS iGO. Mais finalement, ALK, avec CoPilot Live, restera le partenaire exclusif de l'offre.
